Re “On Auschwitz’s anniversary, ‘Great Dorroow’ for the increase in nationalism” (cover, January 28) and “Musk Insives end to blame for the Nazi past of Germany” (press article, January 28):

While we mark 80 years from the release of the Nazi extermination field Auschwitz-Birkenau and the indescribable horrors perpetrated in opposition to the Jews there, it is disconcerting that this significant and solemn anniversary is spoiled through a tsunami of anti-Semitism, either in Germany And around. The world.

When the survivors of the Holocaust, who endured barbarism and torture, are forced to stand 8 decades later to sound the alarm of developing intolerance and Jewish hate, it is a marked reminder of the demanding situations that we still face on a global scale . Legitimate the propagation of anti -Semitism is disgusting and take position in a civilized society.

No one deserves to display the red carpet for extremism, xenophobia and hate. And attempts to minimize or go beyond the crimes of Nazis opposite to humanity are an affront for all of us. We cannot and deserve not to clean the reminiscence of the atrocities that occurred in the Holocaust, and we will not have to close our eyes to the tide of anti -semitism that sweeps the world.

To the editor:

Elon Musk’s front with the Extrem Right Choice Party of Germany, Für Deutschland (AFD) is an insult to Holocaust patients and a risk to democracy. By rejecting Germany’s duty for his Nazi history as “past fault”, Mr. Musk trivializes the critical classes of history and encourages extremist forces.

The calculation of Germany with its Nazi history is for its democratic identity and a safeguard opposed to the resurgence of hatred. The 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s release, deepens the affront.

By supporting one of which the co -founder rejected the Nazi era as “a bird mud grain”, Mr. Musk confers harmful ideologies.
