Ukrainian drones have traveled miles to double a Russian bomber base

On January 8, the Ukrainian drones traveled at least 400 miles to attack near the Bombers of the Russian Air Force in the city of Saratov, in southern Russia.

The explosions caused a chimney plate in an expanding tank containing up to 800,000 fuel, a chimney plate that opened for days.

The fireplace despite everything exhausted, or the fireplace fireplace extinguished her after six days. A few hours later on Tuesday, the drones arrived a time. “There will be no rest for the bad guys,” the Ukrainian center for strategic communication sang.

Tuesday’s attack component of a broader wave of drone raids, which would have the largest 35 -month war for Ukraine, which in componenticular was directed to garage and fuel garage refineries and a fuel garage and ammunition, among others goals.

“Every broken ammunition depot, refinery, tank park or chemical plant weakens Russia’s ability for wage war opposed to Ukraine,” Ukraine’s security service told the Kyiv Post.

It’s unclear what types of drone were involved in the back-to-back attacks on Engels, but Kyiv Post mentioned the PD-2, Beaver, Liutyi and UJ-22—all of which are between six and 10 feet long and propeller-driven.

Ukraine has developed a vertiginous diversity of unrelated free air vehicles, some of which are in changed sports plans that can diversity of 800 miles with a lot of explosive books.

Regardless of the types of drones involved, the double -sided strike had a transparent objective: to restrict the Russian aerial raids in the Ukrainian cities, even if temporarily.

Engels is home to the Russian Air Force’s Tupolev Tu-95 and TU-160 strategic bombers, which hit Ukraine with cruise missiles. Thousands of Ukrainians have been killed and wounded in those missile raids.

“This storage facility holds (held) rare fuel for Russia’s long-range strategic bomber fleet that regularly rains a range of missiles onto the people of Ukraine,” the Center for Strategic Communication explained.

Exploiting a fuel tank, even twice, will avoid missile attacks, after all, there are other bombers, but you can stop the speed of attacks for a while. And if Ukrainian drones continue to attack and that Russian aerial defenses do their chance to avoid them, the effect on Russian bombing operations can be intensified.

The Ukrainians feel the blood or, more specifically, the burning of aviation fuel. Drones have hit Engels at least 8 times since Russia expanded their war against Ukraine in February 2022. More movements are coming.

“Today, I held a staff meeting,” Ukrainian Pres. Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday. “The key issue was the development of our drones and all forms of their usage. There were reports on production and contracts—from [first-person-view] drones to long-range ones—as well as on solutions aimed at more effectively destroying the occupiers and protecting the lives of our soldiers.”

Zelensky presented concepts for new and probably advanced drones. ” We have technological proposals that will have to be implemented,” he wrote. It’s not transparent whether those proposals had anything to do with the types of drones that take advantage of duplication.

But don’t be surprised if they did. While Russia’s wider war against Ukraine is getting into its fourth year, Ukrainians are attacking deeper into Russia, more, and with more effect. And their ambition to strike even more and develops occasionally.
