A Kremlin Running organization said the West prepared to interfere with federal parliamentary elections in Russia in 2026.
The executive group, which aims to spare it from external interference, said that “the commission records the active readiness of Western countries to organize attempts to interfere in the State Duma in 2026,” in a document quoted via the Russian press firm in the State of Tass.
“The United States and its satellites have already tried to interfere in the Russian elections in 2024,” he added.
It’s not the first accusation of election interference over the past few months.
Possibly he will not forget last month when Romania canceled the result of the first vote series of his presidential election after Russia’s defendant had operated a “massive influence operation. “
Moscow has told the Australian government that one of its citizens is alive after being captured while fighting alongside Ukrainian forces.
Oscar Jenkins, a 32 -year -old teacher, taken to captivity at the end of last year.
“The Australian has won Russia’s confirmation that Oscar Jenkins is alive and is in custody,” said the country’s foreign minister Penny Wong.
Reports emerged earlier this month, suggesting that Jenkins had been killed through Russian forces, prompting an investigation into his well-being.
“We still have serious considerations for Jenkins as a prisoner of war,” Wong added.
He then asked Russia of captivity, and added that “Russia is forced to treat it in accordance with foreign humanitarian law, adding human treatment. “
Ukraine urgently wants to start uploading significant amounts of fuel to meet its wishes, the former head of the country’s public shipping operator has warned.
Sergiy Makogon said the volume of fuel in Ukraine’s garage amenities fell close to the critical mark at 10%.
“Our garage amenities are gradually coming in but actually the 10% bleed point,” Makogon said, adding that this would decrease imaginable recalls to 60 million cubic meters consistent with the day.
“This will mean that we will not be able to meet gas demand through production and underground gas facilities, and we will need to import gas on an emergency basis,” he added.
Makogon explained storage facilities were around 20% full a year ago and between 22-23% full at the same time in 2023.
The daily fuel production cannot cover all the wishes of Ukraine the season without blood, the country pumps fuel in the summer inventory for use in winter.
Russia has said it held “frank” discussions with Syria in a bid to keep its two military bases in the country.
It is seeking to retain its naval base in Tartus as well as the Hmeimim air base near the port city of Latakia.
While it’s unclear what Syria is demanding in return, the country’s new leader Ahmed al Sharaa has reportedly asked Moscow to hand over former president Bashar al Assad who fled when he was toppled in December, a source told Reuters.
The new Syrian management said it had “emphasized that the recovery of relations will have to confront beyond mistakes, respect the will of the other Syrians and serve their interests” talks with a Russian delegation.
Syria has also had interviews with Ukraine since the fall of Assad and said he expected “strategic associations” between the two countries.
“It is true that other Syrian people and other Ukrainian people have the same delight and the same suffering we have suffered for 14 years,” said Syrian Foreign Minister Assad Hassan to Shaibani.
Ukraine sent food aid to Syria after the fall of Assad, with Zelenskyy adding: “We wish Syria and the safety, stability and recovery of the people. We know the truth of those things. “
Russia has systematically tried to use “information operations” to deter Western for Ukraine, according to the Institute for the Study of War.
This happens after the senior NATO official, James Apathurai, said in the European Parliament that the alliance had faced acts of sabotage in recent years, adding derailments of exercises and corrupt fire.
He also pointed to an alleged Kremlin plot to assassinate the head of German arms maker Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger, adding that Russia aimed to “create disquiet to undermine support for Ukraine”.
The ISW said Moscow’s sabotage campaign directly targeting NATO states supports their assessment that Vladimir Putin sees Russia as waging a hybrid war directly against NATO.
Russia’s “insecure war” with the West is already underway, warned an expert and acknowledges that it makes the defeat “only a matter of time. “
Oleksandr Danylyuk, a former finance minister in Ukraine who specializes in Russia’s multidimensional warfare, said Moscow is “increasingly stressful” that it does see preconditions for a ceasefire and continues to ramp up weapons production.
When writing for the group of experts, Royal United Services Institute, Danylyuk said: “All these signs point to the intensification of Russian efforts not only to Ukraine militarily, but also to destabilize and capture the West.
“Western leaders stubbornly seek ice, to a large extent, imitating the habit of their Ukrainian colleagues on the eve of the Russian invasion. “
Despite the fact that Vladimir Putin did not claim war in the West, Danylyuk said he is known by Russian citizens.
The country’s media, opinion leaders, civil and army representatives “have repeatedly declared that Russia is freeing the NATO of the war in Ukraine,” he said.
“Without a doubt, Russia is not in a position to move on to war with the forces of a united Europe, but it has enough perspective to take individual countries, even vital,” he added.
Danylyuk added: “Russia’s undeclared war against the West is already underway, and the stubborn refusal to acknowledge this fact by most Western leaders makes the West’s defeat only a matter of time.”
The National Office against Corruption of Ukraine has opened an investigation into the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov and will investigate the abuse of its authority.
As we reported yesterday, Ukraine’s government sacked its deputy defence minister following accusations of insufficient arms purchases.
Western officials have warned Ukraine that a rift between the country’s defence minister and the arms procurement chief could jeopardise trust in the country.
Representatives of G7 nations called on Kyiv to resolve the situation “and focus on keeping defence procurement going”.
Umerov requested the removal of deputy defence minister Dmytro Klimenkov and said in a statement that the agency had “inexplicably transformed into an ‘Amazon'” and its purchases were too publicly visible.
In response to the claims, the agency said that it made “significant progress” in boosting supply and lowering prices.
Earlier, we informed you with the comments of Volodymyr Zelenskyy overnight on his hopes of running with US President Donald Trump (see our position at 8:0).
In an interview with Fox News, the Ukrainian Preaspect suggested that Trump be in the appearance of his country.
Zelenskyy has now brought in X to expand on his remarks, saying “the end of the heat of the war is critical. “
He went to the “absence” of Washington in the Minsk agreements signed in 2014 and 2015 to verify to guarantee a high fire between the Ukrainian government and the separatists supported through Russia in the east of the Council.
Zelenskyy also stated that Putin could have been forced into “real peace” had the US been involved.
“A strong America may have forced Putin into genuine peace, just a frozen conflict,” Zelenskyy said.
“I am convinced that if President Trump wishes, he can put at peace. “

Reports have reported in recent weeks that Russian troops have amassed near the village.
