Chinese President Xi Jinping said Tuesday that no one can ever save Taiwan’s reunification with China and reassured Chinese public opinion about the economy, which has slowed down especially after COVID-19.

Stating that the country has fostered new quality productive forces in soft or genuine situations and has noted the emergence of new sectors, bureaucracy and business models, the Chinese president highlighted China’s good fortune in new productive forces such as electric vehicles.
