The son and daughter-in-law of Uttar Pradesh Minister Nand Gopal Gupta “Nandi” were injured when their vehicle hit a bulkhead on the Agra-Lucknow highway, police said.
The incident took place around five in the afternoon when the couple was travelling from Delhi to Lucknow in their Mercedes. After the accident, they were rushed to the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Faculty of Medicine in Tirwa for immediate medical attention.
Additional Police Superintendent Sansar Singh proved that the couple had suffered minor injuries and had since been referred to SGPGI Lucknow. District Magistrate Shubhrant Shukla and Singh inspected the destination remittance site to assess the situation.
