Minister of Health inaugurates permanent NAUTH in Nnewi

 

Nigeria’s Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Mohammed Ali Pate, has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the country’s fitness sector.

Dr. Pate spoke at the innovative and pioneering rite of projects at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Hospital in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Providing equitable access to fitness care for each and every Nigerian is at the heart of the country’s national fitness law.

According to a Lancet report, Nigeria ranks 142nd out of 195 countries in terms of access and quality of physical care as a criterion.

The report says that the number one healthcare has suffered a setback due to, among other things, poor governance, lack of accountability and low pay for fitness workers.

A fear that existing management will express its determination to mitigate

At the inauguration of the permanent site, the Minister insisted that the task is aimed at quality of physical care for all Nigerians.

The Chief Medical Director highlighted the objective of the infrastructure that has been met with the participation of the public sector and personnel,

The minister inaugurated the works of the hospital’s radiodiagnosis center.
