The Health and Safety Authority is investigating an incident in which two men were injured at a structure in Dublin.

In a statement from An Garda Síochana, they and the emergency services were “alerted to an incident on Citywest Drive, Dublin 24, which occurred on Thursday 18 July, at approximately 6. 30pm.

Two men were taken to Tallaght University Hospital following the incident, one for treatment of serious injuries and the other for treatment of injuries that were at the time life-threatening.

“The HSA authority has been informed and will conduct its own investigation,” Gardaí said.

A spokesperson for the Health and Safety Authority said: “They are aware of the incident and have launched an investigation. Therefore, there is no need to address any further main points at this time. “
