Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni kept his task after the team’s collapse last season, but his day-to-day jobs will be a little different in 2024.
Syriannni turned the offense over to new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and said he would focus on overseeing overall football operations in his fourth season in Philadelphia. For Sirianni, this means that “our culture is game management, that’s all it entails. ”
During a recent conversation with rhythm writers, Sirianni admitted that making the replacement is not the simplest thing he has done as a coach, while expressing confidence that it is the most productive thing for the team’s chances of success.
“I think at the end of the day you have to do what you think is most productive for the team, right? And I think that selflessness, right, no matter how much you love something, is the most productive thing for the team,” Sirianni said via the team’s online page. “And in this case, the most productive thing for the team was, you know, I brought Kellen in and let him run with the offense. We discuss some concepts and he goes with them. And that’s what I thought was most productive for the team. Array Array Array I probably wouldn’t lie to you, the concept was difficult, but I knew intuitively that it was more productive for the team. And I see a lot of positives there. I can see things 30,000 feet away. That’s not to say I don’t have an opinion on what it should look like. You do what is most productive for the team because you love the team, not because you love your self-centered reasons for what you want. And I feel really smart about it and, like I said, I feel smart about the direction we’re going.
The end of last season has overshadowed Sirianni’s good fortune since joining the team, which is why some have said NFL stands for “Not For Long. ” Sirianni will be judged by his recent maximum effects and they will have to be particularly greater if he continues to be “100% responsible” for the direction of the franchise.
