Donald Trump Shooting Live Updates: Former US President Donald Trump is reportedly the target of an assassination at his crusade rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. With his ear covered in blood, Trump was immediately removed from the stage. The shooter was dead and the Secret Service was investigating the shooting as an attempted murder, a source told Reuters.
As shots rang out, Trump grabbed her right ear with his right hand, then lowered his hand to look at her before kneeling at the podium before Secret Service agents ran in and covered him. He emerged about a minute later, wearing his red “Make America Great. ” “Again,” his hat fell back and he may be heard saying “wait, wait,” before officials led him to a waiting vehicle. A member of the public also died and another user is in critical condition, a Washington Post reporter said on social media, mentioning the Butler County prosecutor.
Top Republicans and Democrats temporarily condemned the violence.
The shooting occurred less than four months before the Nov. 5 election, when Trump faces Democratic President Joe Biden.
“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their swift action in this heinous act. He is doing well and is lately being examined at a local medical center. More main points will follow,” spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement.
