Following the repositioning, Swiss Prime Site has signed a long-term lease agreement with subsidiary Manor for 3 floors of the Jelmoli building.
Manor is expected to lease an area of approximately 13,000 m2, adding the ground floor, basement and first plot of land in 2027. It will then open a flagship store, with advertising areas available on Sihlstraße and Seidengasse, right in the centre of Zurich. This will enrich Zurich with advertising and recreational spaces for everyday life, which will ensure that the construction of Jelmoli remains a public attraction. After the transformation, the offices will be the centrepiece of the additional 20,000 m2 on the upper floors, fitting into the new iconic façade. With its own remarkable entrance, complemented by a wide diversity of restaurants and recreational facilities. New spaces for even more restaurants will be created on the newly designed rooftop terrace.
Swiss Prime Site and Manor signed a long-term lease. Manor also invests in building retrofits to create an attractive advertising area.
