Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. , said Thursday’s guilty verdict outraged Americans, whether they show it publicly or not.

“I have not seen any user interviewed on major television networks tonight expressing the anger and disgust of the American people at Trump’s conviction,” Greene tweeted.

Greene went on to talk about how CNN had talked about “Stormy Daniels angry in court over Trump’s words. “

Greene went on to write, “Stormy Daniels makes a living having video sex, she’s a nasty pornographer. She’s not angry about anything at all.

“The other Americans are offended by all of this and by all the other people involved, and they’re very angry about the other people who stand by and do NOTHING to prevent this. “

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tweeted: “This is a dark time for America. Trial before a jury of peers is a basic precept of democracy, which must be respected. “

Meanwhile, current Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer claims that “no one is above the law. “

“The verdict speaks for itself,” Schumer tweeted.

“Our team heard that there were cheers at Biden’s headquarters in Wilmington for the reading of the verdict,” Bruce said on-air moments after the jury found Trump guilty of tampering with business records on all 34 counts, concluding his historic and unprecedented felon trial.

Biden’s 2024 re-election crusade wasted no time in publicly reacting to the unanimous guilt verdicts, issuing moments after the conviction announcing that “the risk Trump poses to our democracy has never been greater. “

Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton gave the impression of targeting former President Trump’s guilty verdict in Thursday’s secret Manhattan trial.

Clinton spoke at the 23rd annual Global Leadership Awards for Vital Voices, which she co-founded.

This drew applause from the audience.

The verdict may have huge political and social implications in the run-up to the presidential election in just over five months, or it may simply be greeted with a shrug of the shoulders by the American public. Those who spoke to Fox News Digital on Thursday presented a diversity of reactions, from outrage to indifference to joy at Trump’s conviction, as well as different predictions about what the 2024 election would look like.

Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records similar to a discreet cash payment to porn star Stormy Daniels. More time in court during the 2024 election cycle.

Trump, speaking to reporters after the jury’s verdict was announced, said he would “fight to the end” and said, “It’s far from over. ”

The trial kept the former U. S. president confined to Lower Manhattan and out of the election crusade for six weeks.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg scored a victory lap after former President Donald Trump was found guilty on 34 counts, saying his workplace “did our job. “

“I did my homework. Our task is to stick to the facts and the law without worry or favors. And that is precisely what we have done here. And what I feel is gratitude for the paintings alongside phenomenal public servants who do each and every one of them. every day in vital areas that you all write about. . . I did my homework. We’ve done our homework. The only voice that speaks is the voice of the jury,” Bragg said Thursday night.

Following Thursday’s guilty verdict on all charges against former President Donald Trump, legal experts say the case presented to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg will have “reversible problems” if appealed.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 11, 4 days before the Republican National Convention. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 4 years. In total, Trump faces a maximum sentence of 136 years in Array.

But some legal experts say the trial is “a target-rich environment for appeal,” something Trump does.

“The case will eventually be overturned, either in the state or federal system,” Jonathan Turley, a constitutional lawyer and Fox News contributor, said Thursday.

“However, the worst thing is waiting for a trial in Manhattan,” he said. “I was hopeful that the jurors would be able to redeem the integrity of a formula that has been used for political purposes. ”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. , an independent candidate for president in 2024, warned on social media that the conviction of former President Donald Trump could backfire on Democrats.

“The Democratic Party’s strategy is to beat President Trump in the courts and not at the ballot box. This will backfire in November. Worse, it is profoundly undemocratic,” Kennedy said in a message on X. “America deserves a president who can win” at the ballot box without compromising our government’s separation of powers or arming the courts. You can’t save democracy by destroying it first. “

“I also oppose President Trump in this election. What I’m disputing is his record,” he said.

Former President Trump told Fox News Digital that blaming the verdict is a “scar” on New York’s justice system, while vowing to “keep fighting” and saying Election Day would be “the most vital day in the history of our country. ”

“Everything was rigged from day one, from the venue to the judge,” he told Fox News Digital. “But I’ve never had such support. ”

The former president said that “we have to think about how something like this could have happened to our country. “

The former president’s sentencing hearing is set for July 11, 4 days before the Republican National Convention, which will be held July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Outdoor spectators in the New York City courtroom where former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all counts Thursday night reacted with a variety of other reactions.

“It’s very sad. I wish this case hadn’t been taken to court. “

“It’s time for justice to be served,” another guy said as he hugged a woman next to him who appeared to be celebrating the news that the former president is now a convicted felon.

“This verdict is a miscarriage of justice more worthy of a banana republic than of the United States of America. In the end it will be overturned by the Supreme Court,” NYGOP President Ed Cox said in a statement.

“The fingerprints of the Biden administration are in these purely political processes,” added Cox, son-in-law of former President Richard Nixon. “We will have to redouble our efforts to elect President Trump and fight those who would. “wield the levers of justice in the face of their political opponents. “

“I think it says everything that’s going on in New York, where he was born, where he’s from, where he operated,” she said.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged former President Donald Trump with 34 counts of first-degree tampering with business records. Trump pleaded guilty to all charges, but the jury found him to be guilty.

“But Donald Trump was convicted through a jury made up of his peers. These jurors were other people that even their own legal team helped get through the initial variety process. This is our judicial formula. “Typically, the poorest and most marginalized people, and occasionally Black people and people of color, are victims of miscarriages of justice, not just in New York but across the country,” he said.

“He has the right to follow his options, whatever they may be. But this is not a political or partisan process. It’s one of our legal justice systems. And he tried to influence that through political intimidation and intimidation of those judges. “Those who participated, the juries and the judges, without being intimidated in this process,” he said.

Former President Donald Trump’s online crusade page was updated Thursday after he was found guilty on all counts at his trial in New York.

“I have just been convicted in a rigged political trial by witch hunt,” he continued. “I didn’t do anything wrong! They raided my house, arrested me, took pictures of me, AND NOW THEY’VE SENTENCED ME!”

“The twisted Joe Biden will have to make it clear — here and now — that his chances of getting a second term END TODAY,” the former president added.

Trump called on his supporters, through the updated website, to donate to his crusade with a “massive” and “immediate” response.

Former President Donald Trump’s online crusade page appears to have collapsed after he found guilty on all 34 counts at his trial in New York on Thursday.

It now presents a 505 error message and says, “Something went wrong. “

“It’s a rigged and shameful trial. The real verdict will be delivered on November 5 through the people,” Trump said in court Thursday.

Former President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. , has taken to X to overturn his father’s guilty verdict in the New York trial, criticizing him in a series of messages.

“What,” Trump Jr. in a message.

“The sentencing comes four days before the Republican Convention . . . They don’t even try to hide ELECTION INTERFERENCE,” he said in another.

Former President Donald Trump vowed to continue fighting for the Constitution after being guilty on all counts in the groundbreaking New York v. Trump case, adding that the “real verdict” will be read on Election Day.

“It’s a rigged and shameful trial. The real verdict will be delivered on November 5 through the people,” Trump said in court Thursday.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged former President Donald Trump with 34 counts of first-degree records tampering. A jury found him guilty on all counts.

“This is a shameful and rigged trial, but the genuine verdict will be delivered on Nov. 5 through other people and they know what happened here and they all know what happened here,” he said.

He blamed Biden’s leadership for the lawsuit, which he accused of harming a political opponent.

“We will fight to the end and win because our country is in hell. “

A Manhattan jury has indicted former President Donald Trump on all counts in his New York crime trial.

A guilty verdict in the landmark case will have far-reaching consequences for the 2024 presidential election and shake up criminal jurisprudence in New York, legal experts told Fox News Digital before the verdict was released.

“It turns out it’s an all-or-nothing affair, assuming there’s a verdict and not a jury without a majority,” said Trey Gowdy, host of “Sunday Night in America” and a former federal prosecutor.

“Today in New York we saw that no one is above the law,” the Biden-Harris crusade said Thursday after Trump’s conviction.

“Donald Trump has mistakenly believed that he would never face consequences if he broke the law for his own non-public benefit. But today’s verdict doesn’t replace the fact that other Americans face an undeniable reality. There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: through the ballot box. Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for president.

Trump, who was the first current or former president to be tried on a felon case, is now the first primary party candidate to run for the White House as a convicted felon.

And the guilty verdict on all 34 counts may have an immediate effect on the trajectory of the presidential race, where Trump currently has slight merit in national polls and in public opinion polls in most of the major states he is likely to make a decision in the election.

“If Donald Trump is a convicted felon heading into the November election, he’s going to have to mean something to the small number of electors in the six battleground states that will be up in the race,” Chris Moyer, a veteran Democratic strategist, told Fox News.

Sentencing in NY v. Trump was set for July 11 after former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts on Thursday.

The sentence will come four days before the Republican National Convention, which will be held July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“Today, a jury found Donald J. Trump GUILTY on all 34 counts,” Bragg said in an article about X shortly after the verdict was announced.

Trump found himself guilty Thursday on all 34 counts.

President Mike Johnson denounced an “absurd verdict” after former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all counts.

Johnson denounced a “shameful day in American history. “

“Democrats applauded the conviction of the opposing party leader on ridiculous charges, based on the testimony of a criminal who disqualified and convicted him. This is a purely political exercise, not a legal one.

The militarization of our judicial formula has been a hallmark of the Biden administration, and today’s ruling is further proof that Democrats will not prevent anything to silence dissent and overwhelm their political opponents.

The rest of Americans see this as a war of laws and know that it is a mistake and a danger. President Trump will legitimately appeal this absurd verdict and WIN!”

The jury in the New York v. Trump case found former President Trump guilty of charges brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged former President Donald Trump with 34 counts of first-degree falsification of records.

Trump has pleaded guilty to all charges.

Each charge carries a maximum sentence of four years.

The New York jury in NY v. Trump reached his verdict. The jury will soon enter the courtroom and announce their decision. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged former President Trump with 34 counts of first-degree tampering with business records. . Trump has pleaded guilty to all charges.

Judge Juan Merchán will invite the jury to its verdict. Before receiving the jury’s score around 4:20 p. m. , Merchan had indicated that he would excuse the jury for the day of 4:30 p. m.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, was the prosecution’s “star witness. “He claimed that he personally made the $130,000 payment to Daniels, a home equity line of credit, in an attempt to hide the payment from his wife.

Cohen said he did this because Trump told him to “take care of it” and prevent a negative story from being published before the election. But Trump’s defense lawyers argued that the president never ordered Cohen to do so.

It is important not to exaggerate the fact that the jury decided not to stay until six o’clock in the evening. The ruling had given them a choice. If they wanted to last longer, it wouldn’t bode well for Trump. This makes it clear that they are not on the verge of getting a verdict, although that can mean a lot of things, adding to the huge number of charges.

As someone who thought Friday was the most likely day for a verdict this week, this is not unexpected and, in my opinion, may end up in a jury with no majority or no conviction. It may even go as late as next week. I enjoy reading tea leaves as much as any analyst, but you want tea in the cup.

In a post on his social network Truth Social, former President Donald Trump said that Judge Juan Merchán prevented him from presenting some evidence in court.

The former president made the comments as the jury entered the deliberation session in the case opposing him, N. Y. c. Trump.

Former Trump Payroll Corporation lawyer William J. Brennan joined “America Reports” on Thursday to provide his investigation into the New York jury’s deliberations against Trump, saying it’s best for the defense to plan ahead of time.

“They paint there,” Brennan said of the 12 jurors. “This bell can ring 20 times more with questions, maybe in five minutes with a verdict. You just don’t know. It’s like expecting a baby. “

He added: “I think, for what it’s worth, the longer the jury stays, the better the omen will be for the defense. “

For those who follow, lunch is over and we are back in the courtroom and the additional room. There’s a lot of silence here. We wonder whether today’s deliberations will end at 4. 30 p. m. Since the ruling gave jurors a chance to work on overdue works, there are no updates on that yet.

No updates. No qualifications. Very quiet. Looking at the walls of the overflow room, I have the impression that we will end up going at 6, but I have nothing else to base myself on but excitement.

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday attacked Judge Juan Merchan, arguing that the statements he gave to the jury were “unfair” and “confusing. “

“The jury orders given through the VERY CONFLICTED Judge Juan Merchan were UNFAIR, MISLEADING, INACCURATE, AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL,” Trump said on Truth Social. “They were also VERY CONFUSING (exactly what the ruling wanted!), BECAUSE THERE WAS NO CRIME!”

The comments come as Trump remains in the courtroom as jury deliberations continue Thursday, the second day jurors had to review evidence in the New York v. Trump case.

NEW YORK – Protests intensified Wednesday outside the New York City courtroom where former President Trump’s trial is taking place.

President Biden’s re-election crusader chided MSNBC and CNN on Wednesday for ignoring a “black electorate for Biden-Harris” rally in Philadelphia because they were too busy covering the historic New York trial against Trump.

“The president just spoke to about 1,000 Philadelphia voters, most of them black, about how high the stakes are in this election.  @MSNBC @CNN and others have proven it. Instead, more politics in a trial that affects only one person: Trump. “said the spokesperson for the Biden. TJ Ducklo campaign posted on X.

I’m back in the courtroom where everything is quiet. The ruling indicated that he would like to dictate at 6 a. m. m. , which would leave about 3 hours and 20 minutes. The requested sections of the orders did not particularly advance the understanding of the conflicts. , although one of them obviously gave rise to the request for review.

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley discussed the effect of former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial on his 2024 campaign during an appearance on Fox News Channel.

“Every day he went to court, we won the campaign,” Whatley said. “We raised more money than Joe Biden did while he was there. A million dollars a day is coming on the internet while other people are watching this trial and are outraged by it. “”.

Whatley added that Trump is still in the polls and insisted that Americans “know that this is a militarization of the justice system. “

Asked if the lawsuit hurts Trump the longer it lasts, Whatley replied, “Well, I think it changes the way we have to campaign. “

Despite the lawsuit, Whatley said Trump would continue to speak “directly” to Americans, in a New York bodega or at political rallies.

Because of the strict trial schedule, which releases the former president on weekends and Wednesdays at most, Whatley said they are “making the most of all of our Wednesdays, all of our Saturdays. “

Former Deputy Attorney General John Yoo joins “America’s Newsroom” to talk about the long-term implications of a “fragile” case pitted against the former president.

“The weaknesses and flaws in this case open the door for any prosecutor in the long run to prosecute presidents based on the most minor charges,” Yoo said. “If a president needs to be prosecuted, it has to be for something serious, detrimental to the national interest, and all witnesses and the law have to be perfectly watertight. “

“This case, whether convicted or acquitted, opens the door to all kinds of harassment against long-term presidents. . . which makes the scenario worse for all of us,” Yoo said.

The Supreme Court rarely cares about state affairs, yet the characteristics that juries will have to determine from NY v. Trump “provide a POSSIBLE path for some kind of emergency filing with the Supreme Court,” Bream said Thursday.

Fox News legal editor Kerri Kupec Urbahn noted that “it’s remarkable that a tax offense may be just one of the characteristics that the jury must consider, given that we’ve been sitting here for weeks and have heard almost nothing about it. “

“If the Trump team can articulate some federal/constitutional claims stemming from what happened here, it’s probably worth a look at by the Trump team. Otherwise, they haven’t lost much,” added Bream, host of “Fox News Sunday. “”

The jury began its second day of deliberation shortly before 11:30 a. m. , and the jury spent most of the morning repeating the judge’s orders and the express testimony requested from jurors.

A new national poll is the latest to suggest that whether former President Trump is found guilty or acquitted in his trial as a felon, the verdict will have no primary impact on voters’ confidence in his 2024 election rematch with President Biden.

If Trump were acquitted, three-quarters of respondents said it would have no effect on their vote. Fourteen percent said a not guilty verdict would make them more likely to help Trump, and nine percent said it would be less likely. probably to vote for the former president.

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to claim that in the testimony he had made, he had done nothing wrong.

“The testimonies proved conclusively that I had clearly said, ‘I DON’T BUY STORIES!'”Not that there’s anything to do this: NDAs are PERFECTLY LEGAL AND COMMON!” said Trump.

“Can anyone believe that our government would spend tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to pursue this RIDICULOUS case? I DID NOTHING WRONG! IN FACT, I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT. The testimony in court was incredible for the Defense! “Trump said.

The social media post comes after jurors spent the morning listening to a replay of portions of Judge Merchan’s orders and some decided to testify before being sent to resume deliberations.

Overall, I think the testimony helped both sides. The Trump Tower assembly did not focus on Stormy Daniels and only lasted 20 to 25 minutes to enlist the publication’s help. This was a general discussion aimed at capitalizing on Pecker, who said it was in the journal’s most productive interest to continue publishing positive articles while avoiding negative ones.

On Thursday, at 11:15 a. m. , the rereading of Michael Cohen’s testimony ended. The jury was satisfied with the revision and deliberated again.

The jury also asked for headphones and speakers to read over the evidence.

Side note: Rereading this testimony is a bit like a dramatic reading. The two court reporters reading the testimonies come and go, attacking another person, with energy. I have to give them credit for trying to make this appealing. It’s much less difficult to worry about this compared to Merchan’s reading of the instructions.

FIRST ON FOX: As New York’s lawsuit against Trump draws to a close, the former president and the Republican nominee’s alleged warring Democratic parties have already earned a “massive media bonus” from ABC, NBC and CBS, according to the Media Research Center.

One of the key findings is that, of the more than 640 minutes of general trial politics across the 3 networks, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is rarely known as a partisan Democrat.

“These figures show not only a liberal bias in the media, but also basic journalistic incompetence. In any article, you need to answer the basic questions — who, what, where, when, why, and how — so leave out Alvin Bragg’s component association or “Campaigning to oust Trump is shoddy and, at worst, misleading,” Curtis Houck, editor of NewsBusters, told Fox News Digital.

Houck said the knowledge proves that the networks only to hurt Trump, “to hell with the fundamental facts” and “it doesn’t matter how much they cover incredibly big. “

The jury then heard a clip of Pecker when the same phone call was received while Pecker was at an investor meeting. This recollection of that moment included Trump saying, “Normally, I don’t buy stories because they always come out. This is Trump’s moment. Pecker insisted that they buy it.

Former President Donald Trump said prosecutors in New York’s costly and unprecedented lawsuit against Trump were “demonstrating” their view that the justice formula is a weapon against him.

Trump added after reading the excerpt: “. . . When you think about it, they make the point clear to me. That’s why I write some of those things that are very sad. “

Trump will return to court Thursday as the jury continues its deliberations on whether Trump is guilty of tampering with 34 business records. Prosecutors have been racing to prove that Trump falsified business records to conceal a $130,000 payment to former porn star Stormy Daniels earlier. the 2016 election to silence her accusations of an alleged affair with Trump in 2006.

Judge Merchan finished rereading the orders before 10:30 a. m. On Tuesday, the proceedings now move on to requests from jurors to hear their testimony again.

Court reporters then began rereading the testimony, starting with David Pecker’s about a call with Trump at an investor meeting in New Jersey.

As Judge Merchan reread the orders given through the jurors, it can be noted that some jurors simply nod.

As Merchan read Michael Cohen’s guilty plea to FECA violations, two female jurors in the back row can be seen staring at the judge.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump appeared to be facing the jury, sitting in his chair, relaxed.

There was no visual reaction from the jury when Merchan said it might not be the fact that Trump had not testified or when Merchan discussed moderate doubt.

Judge Juan Merchan again passed sections of the jury’s statements to jurors on Thursday after a series of jury notes came in.

Jurors asked for explanations on the extent to which they can draw conclusions based on testimony. Jurors can’t keep a copy of the jury orders in their offices, which means they’ll have to send notes to Merchan to ask for explanations.

Merchan began to read the commands again. The commands will be read from pages 6 to 35.

Judge Merchan returned to the stand shortly after 9:30 a. m. and greeted all parties, including former President Donald Trump.

A total of fifty-five pages of commands will also be read, on top of some of the original commands.

The jury asks about the first count and how to deal with the evidence and the inference to be drawn from it. You will read pages 7 through 35.

The emphasis on inferred warrants is, in my view, good news for prosecutors in relation to a factor related to the corroboration or perjury sections. This would possibly imply that there is some uncertainty or division as to the extent of negative conclusions that can also simply be drawn from those narratives to identify Trump’s intent and knowledge.

Of course, all of this makes it seem like tea leaf readings are an exact science. . .

Trump is in the courtroom. Waiting for the judge. You will soon know if the jury wishes to reread one or more express orders. Frankly, I think it’s silly that the jury doesn’t get the orders and has to have them re-read. Not serving any positive or productive purpose.

Former President Trump arrived at the Manhattan courthouse Thursday morning to attend the day of jury deliberations in his felon trial in New York.

Judge Juan Merchan asked Trump and his legal team to attend the proceedings so that they would only hear the jury’s notes in their deliberations.

He went on to cite a number of appeals that argued that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against him was “ridiculous. “Sources included Gregg Jarrett, a legal analyst for Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, as well as analysts for CNN and MSNBC.

The former president then touted an NPR ballot that showed him ahead of President Biden among independents.

“54 vs. 42. That’s among independents. It’s the most productive result ever made, according to the survey, among independents,” he said.

Filmmaker Oliver Stone said President Trump is facing a “legal war” as he prepares to stand trial in New York for allegedly falsifying business records.

Stone is an Oscar-winning director for films such as “The Doors,” “Natural Born Killers” and “Born on the Fourth of July. “He has traditionally espoused left-wing political views and has continually condemned former President George W. Bush for his handling of 9/11, voting for former President Barack Obama in 2008 and President Biden in 2020.

He even compared Trump to “Beelzebub” in 2018 and called out the devil.

“It’s a new form of war. It’s called a law war,” Stone said earlier this month. “And that’s what Trump opposes. “

Last year, Stone said he had “made a mistake” in voting for Biden in 2020, arguing that it turns out he would possibly not be “at the level of his own administration. “

Trump has pleaded guilty in NY v. Trump. Se expected closing arguments to begin Tuesday, after Memorial Day, and jury deliberations are expected to begin Wednesday.

Actor and former Hell’s Angel Chuck Zito told Fox News’ Jesse Watters that former President Donald Trump is a “soldier” and that nothing bothers him after attending his trial this week.

“He’s doing it for the other Americans in America, not for himself. He needs to make this country wonderful again,” Zito added. “But I’ll tell you he’s a soldier, man. It’s not. . . Anything bothers him.

Zito shared that he had lunch with the former president at his trial last week and that the president regretted attending the trial and not campaigning.

“I think I’m a tough guy. This guy is a savage,” Zito said of Trump.

The former lead prosecutor in charge of Mueller’s investigation said Wednesday that he deeply admires the trial over oversight of former President Trump’s secret trial in New York.

“As you noted about Judge Merchan, I mean, now, you know, I have like a ‘man in love’ with him,” said MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann. “It’s hard to imagine that jurors wouldn’t have the same impression. “

“If you were to look up judicial temperament in a dictionary, that’s what you’d get, and only that he had to put up with the defendant who committed 10 acts of contempt, he not only threatened himself, but also his family, and in “Despite this, you can’t know for a moment that this weighs on him in any way, because this is simply an impeccably fair trial,” he said.

The jury deliberated Wednesday after Merchan briefed them on the case. Trump is charged through Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg with 34 counts of first-degree tampering with business records. Trump has pleaded guilty to all charges.

That’s why I’d like there to be at least one audio,” Weissmann said.

Merchan’s daughter is president of Authentic Campaigns, while Stefanik noted in the complaint that the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct “privately warned her in July about her illegal political donations to Biden and Democrats in 2020. “

Stefanik further argued that Merchan recused himself from the trial, noting that a “clear clash of interests, grounded in his adult daughter’s monetary scenario in this unprecedented criminal trial, seriously undermined the court’s appearance of impartiality. “

“I ask you to investigate this and impose the necessary disciplinary measures,” Stefanik said.

The jury began deliberations in former President Trump’s criminal trial in New York shortly before noon Wednesday, after a long day of hearings on Tuesday, when it heard closing arguments from the defense team and a lengthy argument from the district attorney’s office.

Juries could reach their verdict as soon as Wednesday afternoon, or it could take several days of deliberations before a consensus is reached among the New Yorkers deciding the case.

Fox News’ Emma Colton contributed to this report.

“I love Trump and I love what he’s done for me and for my people, black people, he’s helped us,” a black New Yorker wearing a Trump hat told Fox News Digital.   “What they’re doing now is ridiculous, those lawsuits and everything they’re doing against him . . . They are seeking to impede the momentum that pushes them to win elections. “

“It doesn’t happen man, we with Trump, black people, we’re with Trump. “

The man then rejected the idea of the Biden administration protecting “black America. “

“We’ve got to get them out of there,” the man, who calls himself a native New Yorker, said of politicians who say “there’s no position for Trump in New York. ”

“They don’t do anything for us, AOC doesn’t do anything for us,” he added.

“This is a judicial lynching, he did something wrong,” a white man wearing a “Gays for Trump” blouse told Fox News Digital Wednesday afternoon.   “He will be found innocent, even if he is and is persecuted by the Marxist Democratic Party, I will vote for him regardless of the outcome. “

Instead, the prosecutor said, he concocted an elaborate plan and everything he and his henchmen did “masked in lies. ”

“The so-called cover-up game and all roads inevitably lead to the guy who benefited the most: the defendant, former President Donald Trump,” Steinglass said.

A New York jury will continue its deliberations for a day Thursday in the historic and unprecedented felony trial against former President Trump.

Judge Juan Merchán informed jurors about the fees opposed to the former president and presumptive Republican presidential candidate.

Merchan asked the jury Wednesday afternoon not to talk or study the case.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of first-degree tampering with business records. Trump has pleaded guilty to all charges.

During Wednesday’s deliberations, the jury sent the verdict in two notes, adding a request to hear its orders on how to review the evidence.

The jury asked to hear testimony from former American Media, Inc. CEO David Pecker and former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.

Mercan said the court is still looking to locate the requested testimony. Merchan estimated it would take about 30 minutes to correct.

The live show starts here.
