Speaking to Truth Social, Trump told his supporters, “Wow!Former Attorney General Bill Barr, who has disappointed many other wonderful people by failing to investigate voter fraud in our country, just endorsed me for president even though I called him “weak, slow, lethargic, fearless, and lazy” (New York Post!). As I wonderfully appreciate your full support, I remove the word “lethargic” from my statement. Thank you Bill. MAGA2024!”

As New York magazine points out, it was a not-so-subtle way Trump called Barr fat, because if the former president of the United States is anything, he’s a schoolyard bully. Of course, the old GA doesn’t deserve everyone’s sympathy; Having worked intensively with Trump while doing his dirty work, he realized this was coming.

Barr backed Trump last week when he told Fox News, “I think it’s my duty to decide which user I think would do the least harm to the country. “And in my opinion it is: I will vote for the Republican ticket. Incredibly, in an interview in December, Barr warned that it would be incredibly difficult to get Trump to do the right thing in a second term, because he wouldn’t have to worry about another election. “Trump wants other people around him to push him back and help him stay on the straight and narrow path,” Barr said. “During his first term, the best way to do that would be to point out to him that this would hurt his chances of getting a second term. Once I win a second term, I don’t know what considerations can be used to reject bad ideas. Of course, in the most recent interview, he added that the “real” danger to the country was “the progressive agenda,” not the one that tried to borrow an election and wishes to be reminded to do so. That need.
