GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A restaurant worker pleaded guilty to a criminal assault after shooting into a customer’s car outside the J Burger N Wings.

Li Hao Wang, 54, Kent County Circuit Judge Christina Elmore argued this week.

The sentence handed down set the sentence for May 8 for the crime at four years.

Wang told Grand Rapid police he felt threatened on Dec. 27 when he fired a handgun after arguing with a customer, Raven Sledge, outside the restaurant on Eastern Avenue SE, south of Burton Street.
