Delmar will soon have a new booth where he can turn leftovers into healthy potting soil for plants.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new food scrap composting site is Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The new spot is located at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church parking lot. It will be open to residents who sign up for the program.
According to the organizers, food waste disposal issues are an undeniable and convenient way to reduce greenhouse fuel emissions.
