Fein purchases 21.4-acre site from CDC Houston for new lakefront multifamily community

Fein has purchased 21.4 acres at 2002 Spring Stuebner Road in north Houston’s City Place from CDC Houston, a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corporation, New York and the master developer of City Place.

Plans have been approved for Fein’s fourth City Place multifamily development, Echo Lake, and structure is expected to begin later this year.

The name of a 1. 25-acre lake with a trail formula that will serve as the focal point for the 326-unit project, the sumptuous garden-style assets designed through the Steinberg Dickey Collaborative to achieve the National Green Green Building Standard Silver (NGBS) designation. Echo Lake will feature elevations of two and three stories and will offer a variety of effective buildings, as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, ranging in length from 556 square feet to 1,824 square feet.
