Musical celebrates Sanxingdui culture

San Xing Dui The Musical leveled up at Beijing’s Tianqiao Performing Arts Center on Nov. 16, offering an audio-visual dinner of the 3,000-year-old Sanxingdui culture with a high-tech design that includes 3-D technology with the naked eye.

Centered on the Sanxingdui archaeological site in Sichuan province, the musical is presented in two intertwining storylines — a high priest in the ancient kingdom gathering artisans to make a sacrificial object, and an intern working on the archaeological site.
