He recently traveled to Brazil and escaped the daily struggles of South Africa and gave an exclusive interview to Galore magazine about his stay.
Meet the award-winning actress @pearlthusi since she hosted ‘Queen Sono’, Netflix’s first African series about a South African spy. The streaming site’s six-episode TV mystery stars Pearl as the secret agent of the same name.
During the interview, Pearl talked about her current trajectory, including her work on Queen Sono, Netflix’s first African original series, as well as her enthusiasm for taking on new challenges, as reported via IOL.
“I am exploring new paths, challenging myself to not define myself solely through what the world sees. I understand it for those who have not discovered how time passes temporarily and are stuck in the search for power, success and love, it would possibly seem like a unconventional,” Pearl said.
She added that she wanted to look back at her career and look beyond her achievements, paying careful attention to her thoughts and peace.
Pearl also talked about her ambition to write and dream the stories she needs to tell, mentioning that she also went into music creation.
“It’s been a profound adventure similar to my spiritual exploration. I’d rather not talk about it much. I want my painting to speak for itself, as I have insisted it should.
She hopes her music breaks new ground and needs to do it in a way that no one has noticed before.
