Worcester property containing car dealership, offices, retail sold for $1.25M

A property located on Main Street in Worcester has been sold for $1.25 million to a corporation that has converted two other properties into car washes.

The assets, located at 1103 Main St. , were sold Thursday to Canton-based New York Capital Investment Group, according to records with the Worcester District Registry of Deeds. The assets were sold through Auburn’s Askan Realty Trust, which purchased the parcel in 2007 for $720,000, according to city of Worcester real estate records.

The 0. 67-acre assets are the site of Dynasty Auto Group and comprise a work area and two retail storefronts, according to an announcement through Foster-Healey Real Estate of Leominster. The site is zoned for potential uses, adding residential.

The City of Worcester gave the property a tax assessment value of $757,700 in fiscal 2024, according to city records.

The acquisition comes after New York Capital Investment acquired a grocery mall in Milford in July, which the company intends to convert into a Prestige car. The company acquired 420 Hartford Turnpike in Shrewsbury in March 2022; This site was once a Clean Green Car Wash but was remodeled into a Prestige Car Wash after acquisition.

Prestige has more than 30 car wash locations in Central and Massachusetts, according to the company’s website.
