Renowned chef Samantha Buyskes, known for her appearances on the Food Network and her culinary expertise in the Finger Lakes region, is broadening her gastronomic ventures with the launch of Simply Red Kitchen at 112B Seneca St., downtown Geneva.
This new venture is just a restaurant, but also a multifaceted culinary area that provides Buyskes with a base for its personal chef and catering operations, while also serving as a unique dining venue for the public.
Simply Red Kitchen will function differently from traditional restaurants, focusing on “pop-up” events and takeout, with limited seating available, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Buyskes, along with his wife Natalie Baris, who controlled Red Jacket Farms retail for 12 years, envisions the kitchen as an area for small personal meal reports where consumers can watch their food being prepared in an intimate setting.
The duo encourages those interested to follow their social media pages for updates on upcoming events and menus, reflecting Buyskes’ passion for diverse ethnic cuisines.
