The state’s pollutant meter, installed at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal (CST), said Mumbai’s air quality was “very poor” at 7 a. m. A fitness alert was also issued in the CST domain due to deteriorating air quality. At the Bandra Kurla complex, air quality was recorded in the “moderate” category, with an AQI of 200 at 9 a. m. Meanwhile, Colaba and Borivali East reported “moderate” air quality with an AQI of 151 and 141. respectively.

On Tuesday, air quality remained in the “poor” category at the Bandra Kurla complex, one of Mumbai’s main advertising areas, although the city’s average AQI was recorded at 145 (moderate), according to information published by SAFAR.
