Former President Donald Trump scoffed at a “major announcement” he plans to make Thursday, as hypotheses abound about what he will say.
Trump has already declared his candidacy for the 2024 presidential cycle, and a series of posts on his Truth Social platform Thursday morning have no data on today’s announcement.
However, the former president “refuted” his Wednesday statement about the closing of the ad and issued a series of messages criticizing the state of the nation.
“The thousands of other people entering our country illegally on a basis are a DISASTER, and given their numbers and what they bring with them, this is not the opposite of an army invasion,” Trump wrote.
“Two years ago we had the highest secure border in U. S. history. In the U. S. , we now have by far the WORST!” he posted.
“Our country is a waste!” Trump added in the message.
On Wednesday, Trump shared a 15-second video that began with the Republican in front of a camera and saying, “America wants a superhero. “The clip then showed a Trump cartoon symbol resembling Superman.
“AMERICA NEEDS A SUPERHERO! I’ll make a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT tomorrow. Thank you!” he wrote.
It is still known what time Trump will make his announcement or what form it will take. The content of Trump’s announcement is also unknown, and the shaping president gave no genuine hints about it.
This has led to many hypotheses about what he says among supporters and critics alike.

He has been on the option of Trump simply announcing his choice as vice presidential nominee, though ABC News editorial executive director John Santucci gave the impression of rescinding that idea in a tweet Thursday.
“Listening to morning radio in New York, let’s face a rumor, Trump’s ‘important announcement’ is NOT a running mate for a source,” he tweeted.
Helen Kennedy, formerly of the New York Daily News and Boston Herald, responded to Santucci via Twitter: “My return to Twitter is big. I’m surprised it lasted so long. “
However, Santucci replied, “Save your money. Trust me,” but elaborated.
Trump has been discussed as a possible Republican speaker of the House and the new Republican majority is expected to choose one in January, with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy facing some opposition from his own party that could prevent him from winning on the first ballot. . .
While the House GOP can technically elect Trump as president, he is already running for president.
Others have warned that Trump may simply announce some sort of trial, and imaginable goals may emerge with the House Select Committee’s investigation on Jan. 6. The former president also “denied” a message criticizing the committee on Thursday morning.
