During former President Donald Trump’s speech in which he delivered his 2024 presidential run, he brought his new slogan that he temporarily mocked online.
Speaking at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump said he is launching his third presidential campaign.
Trump told supporters, “To make America wonderful and excellent again, I am pronouncing tonight my candidacy for the presidency of the United States. “
This word would be a play on his 2016 crusade, “Make America Great Again,” known as “MAGA. “
Trump’s new phrase, MAGAGA, was ridiculed by many after he used it in his speech.
Some critics warned that Trump replaced his original slogan so his supporters would have to buy new clothes, while others simply mocked the similarities it had with that of a baby looking to talk.
“It’s official! The new thing about his crusade is MAGAGA! Congratulations to whoever came first, let’s go all the way,” actress Bette Midler tweeted.

Sharing an excerpt of Trump’s announcement, Guardian reporter Tory Shepherd tweeted: “Making America and a great back #MAGAGA sounds like baby babbling. “

TV host Scott Carty also played with the similarities between MAGAGA and young children who have trouble speaking.
“Wait. So it’s MAGAGA now?” Carty said while tweeting a gif of a baby.

“I can’t be the only one who thinks Trump has added ‘and excellent’ to MAGA just so all of his worshippers have new hats, right?#MAGAGA,” Julie DiCaro wrote.

Legal scholar and professor Laurence Tribe tweeted: “So he says he’s running. The hats will have to say MAGAGA: make America wonderful and great again. If it gags, get used to it. “

Game developer Rasmus Rasmussen tweeted: “Huh. I idea MAGAGA Lady Gaga’s mother. “
Hein. Je idea #MAGAGA @ladygaga’s mother.
In addition to this ridiculousness, some Twitter users questioned the former president’s obvious lack of power and the “boring” announcement.
“We’ve seen Trump with more visual power and excitement at many of his rallies than we do now at Mar-a-Lago,” Kathryn Watson, a White House reporter for CBS News, wrote.

Ezra Levin, co-founder of the grassroots movement Indivisible, founded in reaction to Trump’s election in 2016, said the former president was “just boring and low on energy. “
Trump is boring and energy efficient
Kumar Rao, a senior lecturer at Columbia University Law School, joined the discussion by asking, “Is Trump in poor health or just upset now?
“Voice, low-energy cadence like hell,” Rao tweeted.
Is Trump in poor health or is he just being manipulated now?Voice, behavior, cadence, all in low power like hell.
