Loungers secures fourth location for Brightside eating place logo

The lease with real estate company Godwin Developments represents the fourth with the company, the latest being the largest unit of Godwin’s new roadside advertising development, Ram Jam Services, in Rutland.

The site is on the northern segment of the A1 in Rutland, about 20 miles east of Leicester.

Loungers recently announced that its Brightside logo will open its first place to eat, reminiscent of the Happy Eater and Little Chef sites of the 70s and 80s, will open on the A38, south of Exeter, in February 2023, with the next two places to stay. on the A303 near Honiton and on the A38 near Saltash, in the spring of next year.

The Rutland restaurant will be located in a specially designed 4500 square foot unit, in which approximately 41,500 cars are expected to pass through the site along with residents of the domain.

Brightside’s menu is said to offer “great price and exceptional service for roadside restaurants” that serve a freshly prepared menu complete with classic and convenient food.

Ogle Property and Shakespeare Martineau represented Godwin Developments in the deal. The remaining unit is advertised through Ogle Property.

Loungers currently operates 175 salons and 35 Cozy Club locations and recently announced that it is accelerating its implementation program, targeting 30 new openings in the current fiscal year and between 32 and 34 on an ongoing basis.
