Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former President Donald Trump who served as a White House adviser in the Trump administration, said Tuesday night, shortly after her father announced his 2024 campaign, that he has “no plans to get involved in politics” this time.

Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, were key in the White House in Donald Trump’s administration. But after Donald Trump’s loss to President Joe Biden in 2020, the couple has distanced themselves from politics ever since.
The Jan. 6 House committee showed video testimony from Ivanka Trump and Kushner in which they said they tried to convince the former president that he lost the 2020 election, defying his repeated allegations of baseless fraud.
“While I will love and help my father, in the long run I will do so outside the political arena,” Ivanka Trump wrote Tuesday. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving other Americans and I will be proud. “of the many accomplishments of our administration. “
Ivanka Trump has posted less than before on social media since her father left work in January 2021, though she posted a few messages over the weekend about her sister Tiffany’s wedding. He also shared several posts over the summer acknowledging the publication of Kushner’s e-book. and in honor of his mother, Ivana, who died in July.
Ivanka Trump is also named in a lawsuit against the Trump organization filed Sept. 30 through New York Attorney General Letitia James. The lawsuit accuses Ivanka Trump, her father, Donald Trump Jr. , Eric Trump and other year-old business executives of falsely inflating the values of a wide range of homes across their foreign real estate empire.
