BIG RAPIDS: The 2022 annual Community Giving Day at Big Rapids Eagles was a wonderful good fortune with approximately 42 local agencies and nonprofits exposed to percentage data on what they provide.
Residents came here to be informed about the many organizations that offer assistance to those in need in the community, adding several scholars from St. Catholic School. Mary in Big Rapids.
Community Giving Day takes place alongside National Giving Day, and provides an opportunity for local nonprofits to provide percentage data about their organization and settle for any donations of time, skill, or cash from network members.
For the past two years, the event has been organized by the Rotary Club of Big Rapids and the Lions Club of Big Rapids.
“Attendance at the occasion has grown exponentially, as have occasions beyond ‘Game Day,'” Lion’s Club president Dave Hameud said. “We expect even more participants next year, and we’ll start with that. “
Not only does the occasion provide an opportunity for netpaintings members to see all of netpaintings’ other organizations and desires and choose to help where they can, but it also allows some of the nonprofits to work with others, which helps expand a greater sense of netpaintings, Scott Cohen said, member of the Rotary Club.

There is an online option to donate to the organization of your choice at Community Giving Day in communitygivingday. org. The link will take you to them and the cash will pass directly from the donor to the charity.
Donations are accepted throughout the year on the website, however, Giving Day proceeds will count towards donations until the end of the year.
