An online fundraiser set up after Red Dirt singer Jake Flint’s untimely death is to raise money for his new wife, Brenda, and their family.

The effort had raised more than $6,000 of its $10,000 purpose as of Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 30), after two days online.
The Red Dirt country singer-songwriter died just hours after marrying former Brenda Wilson on Saturday, November 26. He was only 37 years old.
