The updated Pfizer booster is available for children five and older and the Moderna booster is available for children six and older. Both injections include a formula that boosts immunity against the original strain of coronavirus and also protects against newer variants of Omicron that account for the maximum number of existing cases.
Residents eligible for an updated booster dose at least two months after their last COVID-19 booster shot or dose. Those who have had a recent infection will have to wait two months to get the booster.
