Tyler Perry criticized an urban online page for a false story about a third installment imaginable in the “Why Did I Get Married?” series, the franchise.
Perry said rumors that Jill Scott and Janet Jackson would “keep” the film aren’t real, Urban Hollywood 411 reports.
Perry introduced his Instagram account last week to share a screenshot of a news article via Atlanta Black Star with the headline, “Tyler Perry Calls Janet Jackson and Jill Scott for Delaying Next Episode of Why I Got Married, Scott Responds. “
Perry included the caption: “I guess other people write those kinds of headlines for clickbait. It’s sad. I didn’t call Janet and Jill and they don’t hold a reason why they married me. “

The Atlanta Black Star article would have possibly misinterpreted comments Perry made about the film in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. Perry told the outlet that the third film would take place if Scott and Jackson broke up. Do I get married?”, which was published in 2007.
“If Janet [Jackson] and Jill Scott say ‘yes,’ there will be a ‘Why did I remarry?’So, waiting for them to say it. I’m waiting for the word,” Perry said at Byron Allen’s first annual TheGrio Awards.
Scott shared ET’s article on Twitter and captioned it, “@tylerperry, @MichaelJaiWhite @LammanRucker @tashasmith4real @richjonesactor and Sharon Leal have already said yes?Yesterday I won a text message. Hi @JanetJackson, did you get an SMS? »
In his IG message, Perry noted that he had yet to write the script, nor had he developed “a concept of where our lives and our love would be 15 years after the first one. “
He concluded: “But then again, nobody is hiding anything and I’m calling anyone. Stop the BS.
