Kroger to Open Dining Rooms with Hardee’s, Nathan’s Famous and Chains

The new Columbus food parlors will soon open in 3 Columbus-area Kroger stores, courtesy of California-based ghost cooking company, Kitchen United.

Ohio’s first Mix Food Hall locations will open at Krogers at 3417 N. High St. in Clintonville, 7625 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin and three hundred S. Hamilton Rd. à Gahanna. Gahanna’s location will open the week of November 7, while the other two will open before the end of November.

“We’re looking at new and unique tactics to help our consumers answer the question ‘what are we going to have for dinner tonight?'” said Melissa Stimac, vice president of sales for Kroger’s Columbus division. “The collaboration with Kitchen United is special because consumers’ restaurant-quality foods will be ready as they purchase the basic, new foods their circle of family needs. “

Customers will be able to combine and adjust pieces from other restaurants, and orders will be able to be picked up or delivered through virtual kiosks on site, online, through the Mix Food Hall app or other third-party delivery platforms. The food rooms will be in Kroger’s deli area, 800 to 930 square feet each, depending on location. Dublin and Gahanna venues will also feature in-store seating.
