Louisiana has redesigned its for entertainment industry professionals doing business in the state.
LouisianaEntertainment. gov offers 4 features in the industry: film, music, interactive and live presentations, where users can be informed about incentives, locations, team and talent, business resources and projects for each.
A press release indicates that the online page simplifies the procedure for searching for state incentives and application programs. Interactive maps provide contextual data about local movie offices, scenes, recording studios, and more. A distance calculator allows manufacturers to estimate driving time between Louisiana cities. The online page also includes a searchable database of locations, accommodation, talent, equipment, and more.
Last year, program participants paid $170 million on the payroll of Louisiana residents and generated $366 million in state overhead on their productions to Louisiana Secretary of Economic Development Don Pierson.
