Montgomery Roller Derby ends season on Saturday with Stranger Games

The Montgomery Roller Derby closes its season on Saturday with the “Stranger Games” at the Multiplex of Cramton Bowl.

It’s a two-headed evening, with junior skaters facing off at 5:30 p. m. The Birmingham Steel City Slayers face off in Slashers vs Sci-Fighters.

The main event begins at 7 p. m. as Roller Derby takes on Tuscaloosa’s Druid City Derby.

There will be a dress contest at halftime, so dress up in your favorite outfit from “Stranger Things”/1980.

Montgomery Roller Derby will donate a portion of the proceeds from the occasion to the Montgomery Area Food Bank and non-perishable canned foods.
