In Dyersville, Iowa, Field of Dreams opened its massive youth baseball and softball complex this month.
Upon completion of the first phase of construction, the complex will feature five baseball fields and 4 softball fields. Seven of the nine fields in total will be synthetic turf.
A ridge line and 70 to 80 acres of cornfield will save you any effect on the historic field.

In Fresno, California, the Morse Wittwer Sports Performance Center opened on fresno State’s campus at the North Gym.
The dynamic center includes more than 6000 square feet of domain equipped with PLAE apparatus and floors with 12 platforms built into the floor and a giant turf domain for plyometrics, movement preparation and recovery.
The domain comes with six half-racks and six double-sided racks, which come with flying firing bars and six flips of combo deployable/low-row cables. All racks are supplied with Jammer extension arms and Landmine accessories, as well as other weighty gadgets to help expand Bulldog student-athletes.

After years of making plans and several rounds of investment requests, school formula officials and visitors participated in a grand rite on Sept. 12 to officially open the Gates County Schools Athletic Training Center.
In addition to the new weightlifting machines and training equipment, there is an “indoor field”, a smaller edition of the stadium, with artificial turf, which can be used by sports groups for activities in case of bad weather.
Williams noted that the investment in the fitness center came from grants in particular for sports facilities.
