While Cordish’s autonomous sports and social venues have grown across the country in years, this is the first partnership position. It’s also the first time DraftKings has entered the food and beverage box.
The site is expected to open at Somerset Collection, a Michigan luxury grocery shopping destination in Metro Detroit’s Troy neighborhood, about 20 miles from downtown.
Visitors will be able to enjoy “made from scratch” favorites and a wide variety of drinks, adding decided cocktails, specialty drinks, a variety of beers ranging from local favorites to national beers, as well as the exclusive Crush variety of the place. The position also provides a menu with special occasions focused on food and beverages of the week.
There’s a brunch party on Saturdays and Sundays with the place’s popular table drinks #brunchtails and menu favorites like Chicken.
The 10,400-square-foot area will feature an exclusive DraftKings living room that can be used for parties and personal occasions and a dog-friendly patio.
The stand will also offer live music and entertainment several days a week, as well as a variety of interactive social games, such as skeeball, hoops, Beirut, foosball, shufflepuck and arcade games.
Sport
While watching live matches, visitors can access DraftKings’ cellular platforms to play daily fantasy sports and place bets from their phone on sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, golf, MMA, soccer, tennis, and more.
The timing of the site’s opening couldn’t be better, as it’s just in time for bets on the NFL season.
Plus, Michigan’s location turns out to be a wonderful selection, as it’s one of the largest markets in the U. S. In terms of revenue, only surpassed by New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
DraftKings has already established a plan for first-class, high-energy sports and entertainment sites. Now, this is the first time that the operator is introduced to food and beverages, since so far the company has only held sports fairs. Other sports locations
