A relict site found in Harbin, China, is believed to belong to the Jurchen people and dates back more than 1,000 years.

The relics were found in Fangzheng County in Harbin.

They are believed to date from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and the Liao Dynasty (907-1125).

In July this year, the Heilongjiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology carried out a rescue excavation at the site and found 2 dwellings, 26 wells, 2 ditches, as well as more than two hundred ceramic items, iron tools and stone tools. among others.

Archaeologists said the discovery will contribute to in-depth studies of the history, culture, production and life of the Jurchen people.
