Elektra Entertainment Marketing Promotes Adam Ruehmer and Katie Robinson

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Warner Music Group’s (WMG)’s Elektra Entertainment has conducted two promotions within the record group’s marketing department. Katie Robinson has been named Senior Vice President (SVP), while Adam Ruehmer has been promoted to Senior Director and Head of Digital Marketing, effective immediately. Robinson and Ruehmer will report to Elektra co-chairs Mike Easterlin and Gregg Nadel. They’re in Los Angeles.

Robinson joined Elektra in 2019 as Vice President (VP) of Marketing and oversaw campaigns for the record group’s artist roster, adding Avril Lavigne, jxdn, A Day To Remember, Alec Benjamin, Fitz and The Tantrums, and many more. This appointment marked her returning to WMG, having worked with the Atlantic/Fueled By Ramen charts from 2006 to 2013, rising to the position of Senior Director of Marketing. He helped launch the multi-platinum races of Bruno Mars, Paramore, Panic!At Disco, fun. , and others.

Prior to Elektra, she was global director of marketing at Red Bull Records. Prior to that, he spent 3 years at Interscope, overseeing the marketing of The 1975, Madonna and others.

Ruehmer was appointed Director of Digital Marketing at Elektra Entertainment in 2021 after spending over seven years at Warner Records and led virtual campaigns/strategies for Brandi Carlile, Alec Benjamin, Avril Lavigne, Twenty One Pilots, Gojira, etc.

His paintings on the interactive for the 20th anniversary of Linkin Park’s hybrid theory earned him a Webby nomination.
