Liz Cheney Reacts to FBI Symbol of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Documents

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) took to Twitter after the Justice Department released a photograph of classified documents received by former President Donald Trump’s RAID at the MAR-A-Lago resort.

Cheney, who has been one of the former president’s leading critics, claimed the symbol revealed “even more indefensible conduct by Donald Trump revealed this morning,” according to a tweet posted Wednesday from his account.

The congresswoman, who recently lost her re-election bid to make Wyoming in Congress, claimed she could have won the party’s nomination in a tweet last week, if she had had to side with the former pre-agent in his allegation that the 2020 election was “stolen” through widespread voter fraud.

The FBI photograph, which was released in reaction from the Justice Department to Trump’s request that a special teacher review documents taken by federal officials during the search, was allegedly taken at Mar-a-Lago. The photo drew ridicule from former Vice President Kamala Harris, a spokeswoman for Symone. Sanders-Townsend.

“1) I can’t get the photos of those documents on the Internet,” Sanders-Townsend tweeted. “I really would never have imagined it when I was running in WH. 2) Is WTF going to fall with this?!? mat “

The Justice Department said the symbol was an “FBI redacted photograph of certain classified documents and covers recovered from a container in Office 45,” according to the court filing.

The photo shows the canopy pages of the classified documents, adding some marked as “top secret” that have been surrounded by yellow borders. The photo was digitally manipulated to cover any delicate curtains and data with white boxes pasted on some pages.
