Apple hasn’t made any starting price changes between the 2020 iPhone 12 and the 2021 iPhone 13. But with bigger changes expected for the iPhone 14, it’s moderate that Apple may raise prices in 2022.
The new iPhone can see its value build up through $100, according to Dan Ives, an analyst at Wedbush Securities. Ives told The Sun. Kuo he also believes Apple could increase the value of its new iPhone.
However, other rumors suggest that the iPhone 14 will be priced the same as last year’s model, or even cheaper. 14

Apple could have some camera updates in store for the upcoming iPhone 14. Rumors say that the tech giant has selected a new supplier for its front-facing camera to make a high-end lens. However, before you get too excited, it’s imaginable that not every iPhone 14 style will get a new design without a notch. The other great design replacing Prosser’s rendering screen is a flattened camera bump. It’s possible that all iPhone 14 models will come with Apple’s ProMotion display, which lately only have the iPhone thirteen Pro and Pro Max variants. Young, however, speculates that Apple will continue to offer ProMotion presentations exclusively for its Pro models. The analyst suggests that Chinese manufacturer BOE is one of Apple’s OLED LTPO presentation suppliers, but the company has a large production capacity at the moment.
Apple incorporated 5G connectivity into its iPhone 12 lineup and, unsurprisingly, also included it in the iPhone 13. There’s no explanation as to why we might not see a 5G-enabled iPhone 14 either. A 2021 report from the Nikkei Asian Review also predicts that Apple will “fully embark on 5G” in 2022.
