Chang Hua met and spoke with the director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Ali Naderi, here in Tehran, Iran.
Referring to IRNA’s pivotal role as Iran’s official news agency, Chang Hua expressed hope that IRNA, as before, will play a role in neutralizing the Negative Exposure of Western media on cooperation between the two countries.
Describing Tehran-Beijing strategic cooperation in all fields on the basis of win-win, he noted that the determination of the Iranian and Chinese presidents is based on strengthening political, economic, defense and cultural cooperation, adding that with the inking of a year 25-25 long cooperation agreement between Iran and China, they will witness the expansion of cooperation in all fields.
Emphasizing Iran’s role in the region and the world, he noted that economic cooperation between Iran and China has evolved in recent years.
He added that China welcomes progress and ties between the two states in all fields.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Chinese envoy was pressured because Chinese leaders, especially Xi Jinping, China’s president, have emphasized and supported the preservation of the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Emphasizing his country’s inalienable right to Iran to use nuclear force and efforts to lift U. S. sanctions against Iranians, he expressed hope that the U. S. will lift its sanctions against Iran.
Referring to the international relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran in establishing relations with friendly and neighboring states, as well as Iran’s role in regional and global organizations and treaties, and added the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) treaty, Hua under pressure that China has supported the permanent club of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the SCO. Noting that Iran’s accession to this vital organization will indeed play an effective role in establishing links between Member States.
He appreciated IRNA’s efforts in recent years to launch the Chinese website, under pressure to follow the news of Iran’s progress from the country’s official media, the Islamic Republic News Agency, and actually the progress of media cooperation between the two states, especially in the multimedia box. it can be effective in identifying the other cooperation capabilities between the two states.
Referring to the friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and China, Naderi, for his part, referred to Iran’s principled policy of supporting the one-China policy, adding that China has maintained its economic and industrial relations with Iran during the era of sanctions that has been valuable to Iran.
Referring to U. S. interference in Taiwan and destructive U. S. attempts in China’s internal affairs, he said the world’s independent nations form coalitions and together to oppose U. S. unilateralism and thwart U. S. plots to create tensions in the world.
Naderi called the 25-year-old Iran-China deal a document that can herald relations between the two countries in all fields.
Development of Iran-China media cooperation, preparation of IRNA to help publish the Persian segment of Xinhua News Agency, strengthening of the Chinese IRNA website, strengthening of cooperation between IRNA and Xinhua News Agency, student exchange, organization of sports competitions, presence of sports groups of both countries in bilateral and foreign competitions, the realization of cultural activities, adding the realization of the Chinese Film Week, were other topics addressed in this meeting.
