1 Place to Eat and 1 Food Truck Fail on Tarrant County’s Most Recent Fitness Inspections

A place to eat in Lake Worth will go through a follow-up inspection after receiving 46 demerits from Tarrant County fitness inspectors, according to county knowledge collected through Star-Telegram.

Inspectors visited july 17-23.

The demerits at New Skillman Wok at 6324 Lake Worth Blvd. they included several for improperly stored food and others, without adding a certified manager on site, a ventilation formula that does not work properly, and several boxes and pieces stored in the dining room.

The Tarrant County Department of Public Health inspects and rates all Tarrant County restaurants, which are located in Fort Worth, Arlington, Euless and North Richland Hills. Restaurants that receive more than 29 demerit issues will have to go through a follow-up inspection.

The Santos Tacos food truck in Crowley failed the inspection despite not violating the fitness code by not having a valid license plate after it also failed inspection on July 8.

My Kings Kids Academy at 6255 Wichita St. in Forest Hill

Myrtles Burgers at 4568 East FM 1187 in Rendon

Panda Express at 1149 N. Saginaw Blvd. in Saginaw

Santos Tacos to Crowley, who failed despite earning a very high fitness code score due to an invalid plaque

Smalls Acai Bowls at 2380 W. Park Row Drive in Pantego

Texas Ice Cream at 14920 FM 156 South in Justin

Cowboy Community Center at 2100 Cedar Elm Terrace in Westlake

Vietnam Plaza Supermarket at 4101 E. Belknap in Haltom City

Walmart at 6770 State Highway 183 in Westworth Village

These are the inspection scores and place-to-eat violations that the Tarrant County Department of Public Health (TCPH) inspected july 17-23, 2022. TCPH inspects and rates all places to eat in Tarrant County, those located in Fort Worth, Arlington, Euless and North Richland Collines. Scores are based on a demerit system.
