Russian President Vladimir Putin could be about to get another exciting beachfront palace as the Kremlin tries to get a large plot of land in Georgia, media reported.
Aslan Bzhania, the de facto head of abkhazia’s breakaway Black Sea region, said Putin himself ordered him to hand over a “coastal paradise” near the Pitsunda hotel.
A 49-year lease was reportedly secretly signed, ceding 186 hectares of land, 115 hectares of water and a military camp near Putin’s Federal Protection Service, sparking protests among residents, the Daily Mail reported.
Putin is believed to have used the, which houses a summer hollow built by Josef Stalin and frequented by Nikita Khrushchev, to build a new house for him, after the warring parties exposed his billion-pound palace just two hundred miles along the coast.
Bzhania told angry citizens that he could not refuse the request because his nascent government could not do so without the help of the Russian army, although he was defeated by the war in Ukraine.
“I can say with certainty that the Russian Federation can make this dacha,” he said.
“But can we do without the Russian Federation, its armed forces and its structures that protect our borders here? That’s a great question. “
He admitted: “This is a position our guest (Putin) is coming to,” the Daily Mail reported.
The 69-year-old Russian president has made at least two visits to the region, one in 2013 and one in 2017.
“Now there are new technologies, new security situations for people. According to this, such paintings are of course mandatory there,” Bzhania added.
This is a popularity that will look like a new palace on the site of the Soviet-era summer dacha.
