A12 reopens after accident near Latitude Festival site

The A12 reopened after a twist of fate near the Latitude festival location this weekend forced the road to close.

Emergencies were called around 11 a. m. on Monday to report a twist of fate involving two cars on the northbound road in Blythburgh, near Henham Park.

A detour address was set and motorists were asked to avoid the area, Suffolk police said.

A paramedic and 3 firefighters went to the scene.

Suffolk police later showed that a user had been taken to James Paget Hospital in Gorleston, near Great Yarmouth, for treatment.

However, a subsequent Twitter post said there were no injuries as a result of the crash.

Police thanked motorists for their patience and the road reopened within a while before 3:30 p. m.
