Father’s Day is coming up, and as medical interns, we’d like to prescribe fitness as the gift you can give yourself or the men you love. Few investments promise such successful and lifetime returns as a forged body.

June is National Men’s Health Month and we have partnered with Gift of Life to raise awareness of the medical disparities that men typically suffer. We lend our voice firmly to the projects of the Men’s Health and Prostate Cancer Program, urging men to seek a medical regimen. care and proactive remedy for the disease.

Did you know that American men live sicker and die younger than American women?quality of life in general.

Although men notice the minor symptoms that their cars are not working properly, they forget about the repeated signals from their bodies that they are behind for a “tune-up. “Bodies. Then they come to our workplace suffering extraordinarily or presenting the severe headaches of a prolonged illness. Like mechanics, doctors are rarely limited in what we can do when a complex disease limits the pathway of classical care.

So what can we do to get our bodies moving forward with emergency towing services?

He is to act now!

A healthy long run is made up of today’s possible wise choices: undeniable things like following nutritious nutrition and getting enough sleep and exercise. Also, never go back to making normal “adjustments” under the hood and presented preventive exams and methods to keep us well aligned.

Southeast Texas has a large population of other medically underserved people who face more obstacles when looking to keep their fitness on track. Some don’t have fitness insurance or can’t afford their higher deductibles. you just don’t have access to transportation. Language barriers can also be an insurmountable obstacle.

Our network is fortunate to gain the advantages offered by Gift of Life, a nonprofit that overcomes such disparities to make sure local men get the care they deserve.

Throughout the year, Gift of Life conducts fitness assessments for men in Beaumont, Port Arthur and Orange. Eligible consumers in Southeast Texas get loose blood tests for prostate cancer (PSA) and number one care testing for insidious situations such as diabetes, high cholesterol, HIV, hepatitis C, and hypertension. Screening is complemented by comprehensive consultations with doctors on site.

In addition to volunteering, Dr. Fowler also oversees many highly trained medical volunteers from Southeast Texas Baptist Hospital’s Physician Residency Program who help clients navigate to warmer routes. Projections like that save lives! We’ve noticed that critically ill customers get the emergency response they need.

With proper care, our bodies are built to last. If we need to continue “browsing” in the long term for a long time, we will have to be guilty owners and operators. It is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and those who love us.
