Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda are investigating a rare incident in which a man accidentally shot himself and then died in a car accident.
Around 2 a. m. on Wednesday, state infantrymen responded to the Parking Lot of the Quality Inn near U. S. Route 6. The U. S. Department of Homeland Security in Wysox Township to receive a report of a firearm discovered.
A record check of the gun revealed that it belonged to Tyler States, 25, an address.
State police said it gave the impression that the states shot themselves in the middle finger with their left hand and then left the parking lot at full speed.
