After years of shouting louder, almaximum, regardless of what the economy was doing, technology-driven stocks are collapsing and dragging down the rest of Wall Street. Many of those leading corporations still make billions of dollars in profits and continue to dominate the rating of maximum valuable corporations. But two big adjustments have caused its shares to return to Earth this year: interest rates are rising and expectations of immediate and continued expansion suddenly seem much more fragile.
