ALDI shoppers were disappointed this morning because the store’s famous egg chair has already sold out.
The lawn chair was back online today at 8 a. m. , but it didn’t take long for shoppers to flood in as thousands of people covered up before the launch.
The rocking chair egg was at the top of the call last year, and today wouldn’t be the first time the chairs have been swept from the site in record time.
But not everyone has had a chance to catch one in the past, so they came here through thousands to Aldi’s online to test their ability to hang a chair again.
The special purchase can only be earned through the Aldi website.
The cheapest edition offers the small Gardenline hanging egg chair, pushing shoppers to £189. 99.
A larger edition can also be purchased for just under £200, and editions are also supplied with blankets.
Special grocery shopping is products introduced through the supermarket at low cost every Thursday and Sunday to cover a variety of activities and recreational activities, such as camping, exercising or DIY.
But like many other products in the range, this one was very temporarily out of stock and once they are out of stock, they may be out of stock for a while or even permanently.
With that in mind, shoppers went into a frenzy this morning when they tried to store the product in their own baskets.
