The number of agencies in Korea has shrunk to more than 1300 since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in late 2019.
According to the Korea Tourism Organization, the number of agencies at the end of last year was 20,906, 1,377 fewer than the 22,283 at the end of 2019.
Meanwhile, as it dried up almost completely abroad, other people turned to domestic activities such as camping.
The number of campsites 2,873, up to 500 in two years. At the end of last year, there were only about 2,900.
