It’s no wonder that Money Heist returns for its final batch of episodes and ranked in the most sensible spot on Netflix, but now its reign is over, at least in the United States, and it still didn’t take anyone Sandra Bullock to dethrone it from the most sensible of graphics.
Money Heist was knocked down a few spots to fourth place in the U. S. In the US, Lost in Space and The Queen of Flow, which is a bit unexpected to watch as I expected it to simply switch to number two.
The new number one deal is an original movie via Netflix’s Sandra Bullock, with the couple reuniting for the first time since Bird Box, but no, it’s not Bird Box 2, it’s The Unforgivable.
It’s an unusually brave role for Bullock, where she plays a woman convicted of murder looking for her little sister she left behind when she went to prison. The film is directed by German director Nora Fingscheidt, who hasn’t done anything of me’ that I’ve heard of, however, it’s obviously a great opportunity, as she now has what is probably the most watched film in America right now.
The film also features two former Netflix stars, Vincent D’Onofrio of Daredevil and Jon Bernthal of Punisher, along with Viola Davis of Suicide Squad. Is the film good? Well, like many Netflix offerings (i. e. the Red Notice), there’s a big difference between critics and audiences on this 40% score on Rotten Tomatoes compared to an audience score of 86%, very similar to what the Red Notice just got. What can I say? People love Sandra Bullock, in any context.
I wouldn’t expect it to stay on the most sensitive list of lists for too long, as videos have a tendency to fall quite temporarily because they’re unique. If it stays for a long time, Netflix will probably start bragging about its audience. shortly.
As for Money Heist, it is one of Netflix’s luckiest series, and just because the main screen is ending, the expanded universe of Money Heist will continue. Berlin has its own spin-off screen and Netflix has also given the green touch to a Korean edition of Money Heist. No English edition arrives, which turns out to be the right choice, given the good luck of the Spanish edition in the United States anyway.
I’m surprised to see Lost in Space maintaining that momentum, permanently at n. #2 here for a while, when it was #1 before Money Heist came back. being the scheduled end of the series. Its author has a larger global deal with Netflix and will produce more content in the future.
I’m going to watch The Unforgivable tonight and see how it goes. Again, it’s hard not to like a Sandra Bullock movie, and I think Netflix has figured it out right now.
