Coalhouse Fort in Tilbury is one of the places where other people have to pay for parking from next April.
A parking payment can be implemented on a variety of recreational grounds to generate £160,000 a year for a board.
Thurrock City Council in Essex will install parking meters in nine car parks that are lately loose.
Some of the car parks had not been kept up to date due to the consequent lack of income, according to a report.
It has been proposed that the payment would cover a monetary hole of £34. 3 million over the next two years.
If the plan is through councillors next week, a payment will be introduced ranging from £1 for an hour to £6. 50 for six hours, the Local Democracy Reporting Service said.
Car parks planned for the programme include the South Ockendon Leisure Centre, the Tamarisk Road Car Park in South Ockendon and the Coalhouse Fort Car Park in Tilbury.
Six parking lots are also included in Langdon Hills Country Park.
It will charge the council around £111,000 to repair broken surfaces and £38,700 to install the payment and machines, but the payment will bring them around £160,000.
According to the report, parking payment and the app would be “reserved” and reinvested in the facility.
He added that normal tracking patrols can simply decrease crime and antisocial behavior at sites.
The Regeneration Planning, Transportation, Synthesis and Review Committee meets tuesday.
