As a preview of the infallible mega-hit Space Jam: A New Legacy next year, Microsoft and LeBron James – with Bugs Bunny – have announced a new contest in which enthusiasts have the possibility to create an original arcade-style video game.
From December 14th to December 30th, anyone at least 14 years old can throw their proverbial hat into the ring by submitting game proposals through the official contest website. First, check the official rules, then a genre. From there, you decide on a key symbol and give an argument of 500 words or less that describes your concept of the game.
In the end, the respective concepts of two winners will be implemented as a component of the official arcade-style game Space Jam: A New Legacy, which will be presented in June 2021 as a park for Xbox Game Ultimate members. a prize pool that adds signed and authenticated LeBron items, official movie merchandise, Nike VIP packages, a traditional Xbox Series S console, etc.
For stakeholders, Microsoft also organizes virtual Jam themed area workshops aimed at creating games. Students will use the MakeCode Arcade platform to acquire valuable coding skills, many of which can be leveraged regardless of their career. As for the film, enthusiasts can expect Space Jam: A New Legacy, a sequel to the beloved 1996 original starring Michael Jordan, which will arrive in theaters and HBO Max on July 16, 2021.
