Christian Co. temporarily closes the COVID-19 check due to lack of presentation and weather conditions

Christian County is stopping coronavirus tests on the west side of Ozark due to decreased call and higher winter weather, authorities said.

Phil Amtower, Christian County’s director of emergency management, said he took up the resolution because many other sites offer evidence, the diversity of non-filing fees is 20 to 25%, and the weather has deteriorated.

“We tried to keep him out (and) we have a big tent we were using,” Amtower said in a phone interview Tuesday. “With a lack of blood and wind, it’s hard to keep running and be sure. “

The verification site hired six members of the Christian County CERT, or Community Emergency Response Team, effective from the CARES Act, Amtower said. If the CARES Act cash was extended, the verification site could be reopened, Amtower said.

“Maybe we can open it for a long time,” he added.
